Mr. Hutcheson brings over twenty-five years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He began his career with various small independent exploration and production companies from 1996 to 2005, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of prospect generation and development, including geology, geophysics, land management, and administrative roles.
From 2005 to 2009, Matt worked as an independent oil and gas Landman for a land brokerage, where he oversaw mapping and digital data implementation and led teams of field Landmen, often managing groups of ten to twenty. He also contributed geologically to projects, continuously refining his skills.
From 2009 until June 2017, he was with Stephens Production Company, an independent exploration firm, where he served as a Geotechnician, focusing on generating prospects and interpreting data under the guidance of senior geologists and geophysicists.
At Laramide, he oversees geoscience and operation efforts while leading exploration strategy.
Mr. Hutcheson holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Sam Houston State University and a bachelor’s degree in geology from the University of Florida.

Pherl Brossman, has 40+ years of energy industry experience in Corporate Management, Finance, Project and Land Management for several public companies in areas of increasing responsibility - Gulf Oil (Texaco/Chevron), Anadarko Petroleum (Occidental), Milestone Petroleum (Burlington Resources – Conoco - Phillips), Edge Petroleum Corporation (minority owner which went public in ’97 successor company Apache Corp.), to ownership interests several Limited Liability Companies to his company Latitude Resources, L.L.C.
Brossman directly engages with interdisciplinary teams identifying, assembling, marketing to “Industry Recognized” Companies, High Net worth Individuals and Trusts and closing prospects for potentially significant reserves of Oil and/or Gas. He has marketed, closed, drilled and/or caused to have drilled over a 90+ prospects with $100+ million of risk capital being expended resulting in 30+ new field discoveries.
Brossman has been engaged in all phases of the “upstream” energy sector of exploration and production – including Operating, producing, and creating significant added value assets for producing property, royalty and mineral acquisitions.
